Education: B.A. in Biology (1980), University of South Florida, Tampa,FL; Ph.D. in Vascular Biology (1987), Texas A&M University, College Station, TX; Postdoctoral Fellow (1987-1989), Texas A&M University Health Science Center, College Station, TX; Visiting Assistant Professor (1990-1991), Department of Surgical Research, Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
